From the moment you stroll past the picket fence at Leurafells, you embark on an experience of yesteryear’s mountain lifestyle with all the conveniences of a modern home.
Built in 1904 and fully renovated in 2001, Leurafells offers guests a unique opportunity to experience modern living in a setting reminiscent of days gone by.
Leurafells boasts 3 bedrooms with the added bonus of an extra single bed on the beautiful wraparound veranda. The master bedroom is known as the Blue Room and features a queen size bed, electric blanket, Australian wool doona and an en-suite bathroom. The Green Room is the sun drenched veranda that leads out from the Blue Room, encompassing both a sitting area for Sunday brunch as well as a single bed suitable for an extra child (including an electric blanket and Australian wool doona for added comfort). Further down the polished wooden hall lies the Rose and Lavender Rooms, both complete with queen sized beds, electric blankets and Australian wool doonas.
The master bathroom exemplifies the way yesteryear and modern convenience blend so effortlessly at Leurafells. Either indulge in a luxurious soak in the renovated claw foot bath, or a steaming hot shower in the modern alternative.
The hallway between the bedrooms and living area feels like your own private gallery, complete with Norman Lindsay’s and other examples of Mountain Art. The large living area combines lounge, dining and kitchen, and includes 2 large lounge suites that can easily be converted into double beds for any additional guests. The romance of the room is added to with the log fireplace and panelled French doors leading to a sun drenched deck and orchard garden.
Modern conveniences are an integral part of the Leurafells experience, and include Central Heating, TV, DVD, VCR, Stereo, Microwave, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, and Clothes Dryer. Ample off-street parking is an added bonus.
